Brenda Mangrum

CEO

Brenda Mangrum, founded SWIM Ministries, Inc., in 2009. She holds an Associates of Arts Degree in Human Service and a Bachelor’s in Arts Degree in Criminal Justice. She holds multiple certificates in substance abuse counseling and is a Substance Abuse Counselor II.

Her career started in the mid 1990’s at Queen of Peace, as a residential manager, she directed recreational activities for youth and adults, established collaboration with local community resources and monitored family self-sufficiency efforts.

In the late 1900’s she served as a psych tech at Hawthorne Psychiatric Center, a state residential facility for severely mentally ill children. Later she worked at New Beginnings, Gateway Free and Clean and Preferred Family Health, in the role of counselor.

Under her direction SWIM Ministries, has provided extensive services in the form of substance abuse counseling, drug testing and working with at –risk youth.

Dr. Sandra Wilson

Administrator
Sandra A. Wilson holds a Doctor of Ministry degree, Master’s in Pastoral Counseling, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She is an accomplished church management, program development and organizational/change management practitioner. A strategic thinker, she has proven skills in identifying, training, equipping and shepherding emerging leaders.

Dr. Wilson possesses the ability to build collaborative partnerships with community-based, faith-based, and public sector entities. She has developed and administered ministry programs, church and ministry vision plans, church/community revitalization projects, community revitalization summits, regional conferences, and strategic planning sessions. She has demonstrated proficiency in the mobilization of church, community and business through collaborative initiatives that address the needs of under-served and under-resourced communities.
